LAS CRUCES - Thirty-six couples exchanged vows at the Doña Ana County Government Center on Valentine’s Day as part of the county clerk’s annual “Romance at the Rotunda” event.

Chief Deputy County Clerk Caroline Zamora and Deputy Clerks Brandi Delgado, Karen Hernandez, and April Sosa officiated the ceremonies. Family, friends and visitors at the Government Center attended the event, taking photographs to mark the occasion.

Couples scheduled appointments to apply for marriage licenses before selecting a ceremony time on Valentine’s Day. Following the exchange of vows, newlyweds submitted their signed marriage licenses for official recording and filing by the Clerk’s Office. The event included a selection of treats and a photo opportunity for participants.

“It was an absolute joy to witness so many couples say ‘I do’ in such a heartfelt and festive celebration. Our team at the Clerk’s Office works tirelessly to serve our community, and events like this showcase their dedication to making life’s special moments even more memorable,” said County Clerk Amanda López Askin.

The Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office thanked its staff and the Government Center team for organizing the event.
