CHAPARRAL - Doña Ana County is inviting residents to help shape plans for expanding the Delores Wright Community Center and Senior Center.

A community presentation and feedback session is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at the Betty McKnight Community Center, 190 S. County Line Drive.

Representatives from 9 Degrees Architecture and Doña Ana County will present preliminary concepts for the project and gather feedback on design features and priorities for the expansion.

County officials said the goal is to incorporate community input into plans for a space that reflects the needs of Chaparral residents.
