City reminds utility customers of other payment options during two-hour closure

LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces Cashiering Program will close temporarily from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, for staff training. Normal business hours will resume immediately afterward.

Officials noted the brief closure is a good reminder of other payment options available to utility customers:

  • Drop-box: Deposit payments between City Hall and Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.
  • Pay-by-phone: Call 575-541-2111 (option 4) any time. E-check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover accepted.
  • Online payments: Use UtilityHawk to pay bills or set up auto-draft.
  • Walmart: Pay with cash at any Las Cruces Walmart store for a $1 service fee.
  • One-time online payment: Visit PaymentUS.
