Work scheduled March 2 - 31 will affect roads in the Doña Ana, Mesilla Park and Brazito areas, with one-lane traffic and short delays expected.

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana County will begin fog sealing operations on multiple roads across the county from March 2 through March 31 as part of ongoing roadway maintenance.

The Doña Ana County Road Department will perform work in the following areas:

District 5 — Doña Ana area
Tierra Del Sol Drive
Tierra Del Sol Court
Joe Gutierrez Street

District 4 — Doña Ana area
Sandhill Road
Webb Road

District 1 — Mesilla Park area
San Pablo Road
El Faro Street
Avenidas De Quintas
Camino Atajo
Abby Road
Lamar Road
Boggy Lane

District 1 — Brazito area
Valdes Road
Apodaca Road
Forest Road
Valles Road
E. Organ Road
Calle De Las Margaritas
Leyendecker Road
Richardson Road
Salopek Road
Snow Road
Addington Road
Ft. Fillmore Road

Crews will reduce traffic to one lane during work, but roads will remain open. Drivers may experience short delays and should slow down, watch for workers, and use extra caution when traveling through work zones.

Fog sealing applies a light coat of oil to the pavement surface to help preserve roadways, seal small cracks and improve driving conditions.
