Community invited to East Mesa campus event featuring food, music and alumni recognition

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College is inviting alumni and the public to its annual Alumni and Community Block Party Friday, April 10, at its East Mesa campus.

The event will take place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. inside the Student Resources building at 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd.

DACC will recognize five 2026 distinguished alumni during the event: Brittany “Kylene” Carrejo, Krystal Espinoza, Annalee Herrera, Kayleigh Martinez and Mireya Rascon.

The block party will include food prepared by DACC Culinary Arts students and live music by The Border Jazz Quartet.

College officials said the annual event is intended to bring together alumni, students and community members while celebrating the achievements of former students.
