LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College is now accepting applications for the upcoming semester, encouraging new and returning students to explore its more than 100 degree and certificate programs.

With low tuition, small class sizes and seven campuses and centers throughout Doña Ana County, DACC offers hands-on training in high-demand fields such as construction, aerospace, computer technology and welding.

Programs are grouped into six academic divisions, including Advanced Technologies, which oversees offerings in architecture, drafting, HVAC, electrical, water technology and more. The college says median salaries in these fields range from $53,000 to $136,000 locally.

DACC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and operates as a branch of New Mexico State University.
