Donations for the Stuff the Bus drive can be dropped off at the DACC Workforce Center, with a July 11 collection event at the East Mesa campus.

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College is collecting school supplies to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.

DACC is participating in the Stuff the Bus donation drive with Bravo Mic Communications and Nusenda Credit Union to collect supplies for the 2026-27 school year.

Donations can be dropped off at the DACC Workforce Center, 2345 E. Nevada Ave., in office 100B.

Suggested donations include:

  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Feminine products
  • Travel-size laundry detergent
  • No. 2 pencils and sharpeners
  • Mechanical pencils
  • Pens in blue, black and red
  • Pink erasers
  • Crayons
  • Glue
  • Folders
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Backpacks
  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Tissues
  • Rulers
  • Protractors
  • Markers
  • Colored pencils
  • Flash drives
  • Pencil bags
  • Binders
  • Dividers
  • Combination locks

A donation drive event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at DACC’s East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., inside the Student Resources Building.

The drive is intended to support students and teachers in Las Cruces Public Schools.
