Dallas Fed economist to give regional economic update in Las Cruces

MVEDA’s Aug. 4 forum will focus on economic conditions across the Borderplex region

LAS CRUCES - A Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas economist will provide an update on regional economic conditions during an Aug. 4 business forum in Las Cruces.

Isabel Brizuela, a member of the bank’s regional research group, will speak during the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance’s next Business in the NMBorderplex Forum.

Brizuela conducts research on regional economic issues and writes for Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas publications. Her presentation will focus on economic conditions affecting Las Cruces and the broader Borderplex region.

The forum is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, 4100 Dripping Springs Road.

Registration closes July 31.
