Doña Ana County announces election official training schedule for 2026 primary
Doña Ana County will host training sessions for election officials and poll watchers ahead of the June 2, 2026 primary election.

LAS CRUCES - The Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office will host a series of training sessions for election officials ahead of the 2026 Primary Election.
All sessions will take place at the Doña Ana County Government Center, 845 N. Motel Blvd.
Election officials will receive instruction on opening and closing polling locations, setting up voting equipment and issuing ballots. Trainings are open to the public.
Early voting training
- Tuesday, March 31 at 10 a.m.
- Thursday, April 2 at 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m.
- Thursday, April 9 at 10 a.m.
- Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m.
- Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m.
- Monday, April 20 at 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 21 at 10 a.m.
- Thursday, April 23 at 10 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 6 at 3 p.m.
Election Day training
- Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m.
- Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m.

- Thursday, April 23 at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, April 24 at 3 p.m.
- Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m.
- Monday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, May 8 at 5:30 p.m.

Watcher and challenger training
State law requires watchers and challengers to attend training before being appointed. These sessions will be held in the Commission Chambers at the Government Center:

- Monday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, May 15 at 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 20 at 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 27 at 1 p.m.
Election Day for the 2026 Primary Election is Tuesday, June 2.
