Free-roaming and owned pets can receive vaccinations, while spay and neuter services will be available by appointment in Holman, Salem and Radium Springs

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana County Animal Control will offer a series of vaccination and spay and neuter clinics in communities across the county from September through November.

Vaccination clinics will be held from 8 to 11:45 a.m. Dogs must be brought on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. Pets must be healthy and at least 3 months old to receive a vaccine.

Spay and neuter services will be available by appointment only, with appointment times scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Appointments will open seven days before each clinic.

Pet owners who schedule appointments will receive specific drop-off and pick-up instructions. Walk-up spay and neuter services will not be available.

Holman

The Holman vaccination clinic will be held from 8 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the southwest corner of Holman Road and Arroyo Road.

Spay and neuter clinics are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 15-16. The location has not yet been announced.

Salem

The Salem vaccination clinic will be held from 8 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Salem Park, at Salem and Grande.

Spay and neuter clinics are scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 27-29. The location has not yet been announced.

Radium Springs

The Radium Springs vaccination clinic will be held from 8 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Radium Springs Community Center, 12060 L.B. Lindbeck Road.

Spay and neuter clinics will be held Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 17-19, at the community center.
