The county will offer free lunches at Community Resource Centers across Doña Ana County beginning May 26 while school is out for summer.

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana County will provide free summer lunches for children and teens across the county beginning May 26.

The program will offer free lunches to children and teens ages 1 to 18 at multiple Community Resource Centers while school is out for the summer.

Meals will be available daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children may eat meals on-site or take them to go, according to the county. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Lunch service will not be available May 25, June 19 or July 3.

The program is intended to help ensure children across Doña Ana County continue to have access to nutritious meals during the summer months.

  • Butterfield Community Resource Center — 9350 Berry Patch Ave., Las Cruces
  • Organ Community Resource Center — 5880 Second St., Organ
  • Doña Ana Community Resource Center — 5745 Ledesma Drive, Doña Ana

  • Delores Wright Community Resource Center — 400 E. Lisa Drive, Chaparral
  • Vado Del Cerro Community Resource Center — 180 La Fe Ave., Del Cerro
  • La Mesa Community Resource Center — 744 San Jose Road, La Mesa
