County officials said people returning to the area should continue to use caution because flooding, debris, damaged roads and other hazards remain.

At least one water rescue was conducted in the area Wednesday morning, according to the county.

Residents are being urged not to drive through flooded roadways or around barricades and to avoid damaged bridges, roads, drainage channels and other hazardous areas.
