Doña Ana County to host swearing-in ceremony for elected officials

LAS CRUCES - The Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office will hold a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected and re-elected officials at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, 2024. The event will take place in the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, located at 845 N. Motel Blvd.

Third Judicial District Court Judge Conrad Perea and Doña Ana County Clerk Amanda López Askin will preside over the ceremony.

The event is open to the public and will also be streamed live on the county’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/DonaAnaCountyGovernment for those unable to attend in person.

The ceremony marks the beginning of the officials' terms of service, allowing them to take their oaths of office in the presence of family, friends, and community members.
