The June 26 event is intended for people at least 21 years old who want to learn more about careers as FBI special agents.

EL PASO, Texas - The FBI’s Albuquerque and El Paso field offices will host an in-person special agent recruitment event Friday, June 26, in El Paso.

The event is intended for people at least 21 years old who are interested in learning more about careers as FBI special agents. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with current FBI executives, special agents, intelligence analysts and other FBI personnel.

FBI critical incident response components, including SWAT, evidence recovery teams, crisis negotiation personnel and bomb technicians, are expected to be on site to discuss their roles in investigations and display equipment.

Physical fitness advisers will review the FBI agent fitness test, and applicant coordinators will provide guidance on the application process.

There is no cost to attend, and attendees are not required to submit a formal employment application after the event. Those interested in pursuing an FBI career may begin the application process during the event.

The recruitment event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 26. Registration is required by 5 p.m. MDT June 15. Registered participants will receive the location by email 72 hours before the event.
