LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces firefighters quickly extinguished a home fire late Friday on the 3100 block of Enchanted Drive, sending two residents to the hospital as a precaution for possible smoke inhalation.
Crews were dispatched shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, and arrived to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of the house. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within about ten minutes of dispatch.
LCFD personnel provided on-scene care to two people who lived in the home before transporting them to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials have not released an estimated damage amount.
