LAS CRUCES - The New Mexico Department of Health will offer free back-to-school vaccinations this month for children aged 18 and under at its Las Cruces Public Health Office.

The clinic, located at 1170 N. Solano Ave., will provide no-cost immunizations to all children regardless of insurance status or whether they are already patients. No one will be turned away.

Vaccinations will be offered on the following dates:

  • Wednesday–Friday, July 23–25: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Monday–Tuesday, July 28–29: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Appointments are also available July 17–22. Parents can call 575-528-5006 to schedule or ask questions.

Parents are asked to bring their child’s shot record and any Medicaid or private insurance card, if available. However, insurance is not required and all immunizations are free.

To access a copy of your or your child’s vaccination record, visit VaxViewNM.org or call the NMDOH Helpline at 1-833-SWNURSE (1-833-796-8773).

The Las Cruces clinic is part of the statewide Got Shots immunization campaign, a partnership of NMDOH, the New Mexico Immunization Coalition and the New Mexico Primary Care Association. More than 65 clinics, health centers and private practices are participating this year.

A full list and map of participating locations is available on the New Mexico Immunization Coalition website.
