Las Cruces launches weekly municipal Q&A series
Las Cruces will host a 12-session municipal Q&A series from Sept. 2 through Nov. 18, giving residents direct access to city departments and services.

LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces will launch a free, weekly municipal Q&A series in September designed to give residents direct access to city departments and services.
“FAQs Live: A Municipal Q&A Series” will run from 6 to 7 p.m. each Wednesday from Sept. 2 through Nov. 18 at Las Cruces City Hall, with one Tuesday session scheduled Nov. 10 because city offices will be closed for Veterans Day.
Each session will focus on a different municipal topic and include time for residents to ask city staff questions directly.
The series begins Sept. 2 with Community Engagement and Codes discussing how to report non-emergency city issues.
Other sessions will cover city finances, beautification, economic development, maintenance responsibilities, trails, street repairs, zoning, sustainability, traffic safety, public transit and utilities.
