LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces Public Libraries will host an interactive Halloween experience called “House of Dracula” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.

Guests can sample Renfield’s treats, create a slimy elixir to ward off monsters and pose for a photo in Dracula’s armchair. Visitors who arrive between 10 a.m. and noon can meet some “creatures of the night” during a special live-animal segment.

For a milder adventure, residents can visit Dracula’s library earlier in the week, Oct. 27–30, for a less spooky tour of the exhibit.

For information, contact Sarah Booth, deputy director of Las Cruces Public Libraries, at 575-528-4017 or SBooth@LasCruces.gov.
