LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer summer swim lessons from June 1 through July 17 at East Mesa Pool and Laabs Pool.

Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, with eight classes offered during each session.

The city will offer three swim lesson sessions:

  • Session 1: June 1 through June 11
  • Session 2: June 15 through June 25
  • Session 3: July 6 through July 16

Level 1 and Level 2 classes will be offered from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Mommy & Me classes will be offered from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The cost for each session is $45 per participant for Mommy & Me, Level 1 and Level 2 classes.

Registration for all swim lessons will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center.

Participants registering for Level 2 classes must provide either a Red Cross completion card or proof they successfully completed Level 1 swim lessons. Participants without proof of Level 1 completion will not be eligible to register for Level 2 classes.

Class space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
