The 6v6 co-ed tournament is open to teams of teens ages 13 to 17 and will be played July 17 at Meerscheidt Recreation Center.

LAS CRUCES - Registration opens Monday, June 22, for a 6v6 co-ed teen sand volleyball tournament hosted by the City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department.

The tournament is open to teens ages 13 to 17 of all skill levels. Tournament play will be held the evening of July 17 at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Participants must register as part of a pre-formed team. Each team must have at least six players and no more than 10 players. Players may not be listed on multiple rosters.

The registration fee is $25 per participant. Space is limited, and registration is first come, first served.

Team representatives must submit a team roster before player registration. Individual players listed on an approved roster may then register in person. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the registration process.

Proof of age or a Parks & Recreation annual waiver is required to register. A current Parks & Recreation annual waiver must be on file at the time of registration.

In-person registration will be available from 9 a.m. Monday, June 22, through 5 p.m. July 2, or until capacity is reached, at Meerscheidt Recreation Center.
