Ceremonies for six Las Cruces-area schools will take place May 22-23 at the Pan American Center

LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces Public Schools has released ceremony schedules, entry rules and security information for the district’s Class of 2026 graduations later this month.

Graduation ceremonies will take place Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 at the Pan American Center on the New Mexico State University campus.

District officials encouraged families and guests to arrive early to allow time for parking, entry and security screening.

LCPS said ceremonies will follow the same clear bag policy used for New Mexico State University athletic and special events. The policy generally allows clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, with limited exceptions for medically necessary items and diaper bags.

Graduation ceremony times are:

Friday, May 22

  • Mayfield High School — 9 a.m.
  • Arrowhead Park Early College High School — 1:30 p.m.
  • Las Cruces High School — 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 23

  • Centennial High School — 9 a.m.
  • Rio Grande Preparatory Institute — 1:30 p.m.
  • Organ Mountain High School — 6 p.m.

LCPS said prohibited items include air horns, flags, confetti cannons, laser pointers, fireworks, outside food and beverages, large umbrellas, professional cameras and selfie sticks.

Parking will be available east and southeast of the Pan American Center.

All ceremonies will also be livestreamed on the district’s YouTube channel, according to LCPS.
