League of Women Voters plans voter registration events across Las Cruces

The League of Women Voters of Southern New Mexico will host six voter registration events in Las Cruces beginning Sept. 4 ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Six nonpartisan events through Oct. 2 will offer help with new registrations, updates, absentee ballots and election information

LAS CRUCES - The League of Women Voters of Southern New Mexico will hold a series of voter registration events around Las Cruces beginning Friday, offering residents help registering to vote, updating registrations and finding election information ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.

Voter registration agents will be available to register new voters and update existing registrations. They will also provide information about absentee ballots and Vote411.org, the League of Women Voters’ nonpartisan voter information website.

The first two events are scheduled Friday in downtown Las Cruces.
