Meerscheidt Recreation Center gym to close Jan. 23–26 for construction

The recreation gym at Meerscheidt Recreation Center will close Jan. 23–26 for construction, with programs relocated to the main gym.

Recreation programming will move to the main gym during the temporary closure, with some capacity limits possible

LAS CRUCES - The recreation gym at Meerscheidt Recreation Center will close from Jan. 23 through Jan. 26 to allow for construction work, according to the city.

During the temporary closure, staff will relocate daily recreation programming to the main gymnasium. Officials said some programs may have reduced capacity during that time, but current league play will continue without interruption.

Meerscheidt Recreation Center is located at 1600 E. Hadley Ave.
