LAS CRUCES - Police are investigating a stabbing that critically injured a 34-year-old man Sunday evening on Telshor Boulevard.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Feb. 16, Las Cruces police and fire personnel responded to a report of a stabbing victim at a business in the 300 block of south Telshor Boulevard. First responders found a 34-year-old man with at least one stab wound.

The victim was unconscious and in critical condition when transported to a local hospital. As of Tuesday morning, his condition remains critical.

Investigators determined the stabbing likely occurred near the intersection of Telshor Boulevard and the entrance to several businesses. The victim walked to a nearby business before collapsing.

Las Cruces police are following multiple leads but have not made an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 575-526-0795.
