Gas prices are climbing in Las Cruces and across New Mexico as Spring Break travel begins, with AAA reporting a sharp weekly jump and local stations ranging from about $3.29 to $3.99.
Several Las Cruces gas stations are reporting prices as low as $2.19 per gallon ahead of Christmas Eve travel, undercutting county and statewide averages, according to AAA and GasBuddy.
Gas prices in Las Cruces continue to fall, with regular unleaded averaging $2.68 and some stations posting prices as low as $2.23 according to AAA and GasBuddy data.
