Police say no arrests have been made; investigation ongoing

LAS CRUCES - A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed Monday evening near the intersection of Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue in what police believe may have been a road rage incident.

The teen, whose name has not yet been released, was found with at least one gunshot wound around 9 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene. Las Cruces police said no arrests have been made as of Tuesday morning.

Investigators are still working to determine the exact circumstances of the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.
