Las Cruces’ Community Engagement Office will host a one-hour session for groups to register and strengthen communication with city staff.

LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces is inviting neighborhood associations and community watch groups to attend a meeting on registering with the city’s Community Engagement Office.

The meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, in the Las Cruces City Hall Council Chambers, 700 N. Main St.

City officials say registering a group can help strengthen communication between neighborhood groups and the city. Staff from the Community Engagement Office will be available to answer questions and hear ideas.
