Students can access TimelyCare health and mental health services and the FirstLight Comfort Casita food pantry during summer break.

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College students continue to have access to support services during summer break, including free online health care and the college’s food pantry.

Students can access TimelyCare, a virtual health and well-being platform that connects students with licensed providers from a phone, tablet or computer.

TimelyCare services include 24/7 on-demand medical care for common illnesses and health concerns, mental health support, counseling, health coaching, psychiatric services by appointment, self-care content and wellness tools.

Students can access TimelyCare through the app or with their credentials at mynmsu.edu.

The college’s food pantry, the FirstLight Comfort Casita, also remains open for students who need groceries or household supplies.

Summer hours through Aug. 6 are:

  • Tuesday: 2 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Students must be enrolled in at least one course at DACC, bring their student ID and bring a reusable bag to use the pantry.

The FirstLight Comfort Casita is located at the DACC Espina Campus, 3400 S. Espina St., inside Alex Sanchez Hall. DACC also has micro-casitas at each campus and center.
