Students can learn about virtual medical care, mental health counseling, prescription savings and other services available at no cost

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College students can learn more about free virtual healthcare and well-being services during a campus event Wednesday, Aug. 26.

DACC has partnered with TimelyCare, which provides virtual medical and mental health services at no cost to students, faculty and staff.

The “Take Care with TimelyCare” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside Alex Sanchez Hall at DACC’s Espina Campus, 3400 S. Espina St.

TimelyCare connects users with licensed medical providers and mental health professionals through a phone, tablet or computer. Students do not need insurance to use the service.

The program includes mental health counseling, virtual doctor visits, prescription savings of 65% to 80% and self-help resources covering stress management, mindfulness, nutrition and other topics.
