DACC to host unveiling event Aug. 26 for food pantry partnership

LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana Community College will host an event later this month to unveil a new partnership for its Comfort Casita food pantry.

The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the DACC Espina campus, 3400 Espina St., inside Alex Sanchez Hall in the commons area. The partnership is with FirstLight Federal Credit Union.

The Comfort Casita food pantry provides free supplementary food and other necessities to current students, faculty and staff. Its main location is at the Espina campus inside Alex Sanchez Hall, room 109B.

DACC also operates five micro-pantries at the Chaparral, Gadsden and Sunland centers and at the East Mesa campus.
