LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications from food vendors for its annual Movies in the Park and Music in the Park series.

The events will begin May 10 at the Downtown Plaza and continue through September at Young Park, featuring live music and family-friendly movies throughout the summer.

Selected vendors will be able to serve attendees during the events, with setup times and locations provided after approval.

Applications are due by April 30 and will be reviewed based on compliance with event guidelines and available space.

Applications can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation Department, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.

City officials said vendors must operate from assigned spaces during events. Vendors operating on foot will not be permitted.
