Six works will be selected — one per City Council district — and displayed on bus routes

LAS CRUCES - The City of Las Cruces is inviting artists to apply for the 2026 Art Stop rotating bus-shelter exhibit.

Art Stop places large-format reproductions of original artwork on bus shelters along city routes. The Quality of Life Department’s Public Art team and the City Art Board will select six pieces — one per artist — for installation in each City Council district.

Eligible artists live in Las Cruces, Doña Ana County or the surrounding area. Applications are accepted through Call for Entry (CaFÉ). The deadline is midnight Nov. 2, 2025. More information and the CaFÉ link are available at LasCruces.gov/ArtStop.
