Community Outreach Team invites residents to share lunch, lemonade and conversation at the splash pad Aug. 21

LAS CRUCES - The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Team will wrap up its Lunchbox Lemonade series with a final event Thursday, Aug. 21, at the Plaza de Las Cruces splash pad.

The gathering runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 100 N. Main St. Residents of all ages are invited to bring a sack lunch, visit with officers, discuss public safety concerns and let children enjoy the splash pad.

Free popsicles will be available courtesy of LCPD, and Raising Cane’s will provide free lemonade for all attendees.
