LAS CRUCES - Las Cruces Public Schools will host a public budget town hall meeting March 5 to review and discuss the district’s proposed fiscal year 2026–27 budget.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5, in the boardroom of the Dr. Karen M. Trujillo Administration Complex.

Chenyu “Alex” Liu, deputy superintendent of finance, procurement and budget, and Matthew Saenz, director of budget analysis and development, will present information on the proposed budget and outline the timeline for its development and approval. The meeting will include a presentation and opportunities for public discussion.

The town hall is open to the public and participation is encouraged. An agenda will be posted when available.

Residents who cannot attend in person may watch a livestream of the meeting on LCPS-TV.
