The National Weather Service will present its 2025 monsoon and fire weather outlook on April 12 at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library in Las Cruces.

The April 12 presentation at Branigan Library is free and open to the public

LAS CRUCES - The National Weather Service office in El Paso will share its 2025 monsoon forecast — along with information about fire weather — during a public presentation on Saturday, April 12.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Roadrunner Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. The presentation is free and open to all.

Each spring, the local weather service office offers an update on seasonal patterns that could affect southern New Mexico, including rainfall predictions and wildfire risk.

Branigan Library is located on Roadrunner Transit Route 1. Anyone who requires accommodation for a disability to attend is encouraged to contact the library at 575-528-4102 or TTY 711 at least 48 hours in advance.
