38-page online guide showcases New Mexico-made foods gifts and recipes ahead of Small Business Saturday

LAS CRUCES - The New Mexico Department of Agriculture has released the fourth edition of its New Mexico Taste the Tradition Holiday Lookbook, a 38-page online guide highlighting locally grown and crafted products for the holiday season.

The 2025 lookbook showcases a wide range of New Mexico-made items including salsas handcrafted seasonings locally inspired teas wines and natural wellness products. The guide celebrates the work of New Mexico farmers ranchers and artisans while offering gift ideas for shoppers looking to support local businesses.

It also features holiday recipes from NEW MEXICO – Taste the Tradition Chef Ambassadors Julian Griego and Becky Windels to inspire seasonal cooking.

“NMDA is proud to share the 2025 New Mexico Taste the Tradition Holiday Lookbook,” said New Mexico Secretary of Agriculture Jeff Witte. “It highlights the creativity of local producers who make New Mexico’s food and gifts unique. It’s a great way to celebrate the season while supporting those who help our state thrive.”

NMDA said the lookbook includes businesses featured in this year’s New Mexico State Fair Country Store and has already demonstrated its ability to boost small business visibility and sales.

The lookbook is available now on the Elevate New Mexico Agriculture website. Shoppers are encouraged to explore it early and make their purchases in time for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29.
