LAS CRUCES - Doña Ana County staff and contractors from Wilson & Company, Inc. will host a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 16, to discuss the proposed Shalem Colony Park project. The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Commission Chambers of the Doña Ana County Government Center, located at 845 N. Motel Blvd.

The meeting will include a one-hour presentation from Wilson & Company professionals detailing the results of a traffic impact analysis and biological evaluation conducted for the park and surrounding area. Following the presentation, a 30-minute public comment period will allow residents to share feedback, with each speaker allotted three minutes.

Additional opportunities for public engagement will be available after the meeting through the county’s website, where questions and comments can be submitted. Spanish language interpretation services will also be provided during the session.
