New Mexico State Police issued a Silver Alert for 68-year-old Arthur J. Crothers, who family members have not seen or heard from in several weeks.

New Mexico State Police issued a Silver Alert for 68-year-old Arthur J. Crothers, who family members have not seen or heard from in several weeks.

LAS CRUCES - Police are asking for the public’s help finding 68-year-old Arthur J. Crothers, a Las Cruces man who has been missing for several weeks and may have last been in the Santa Teresa or El Paso area.

Relatives told police Crothers was discharged from a health care facility sometime between mid-November and the first of December. He called a family member during that time to ask for a ride home, but when the relative arrived at their agreed meeting spot, Crothers was gone.

Family members reported him missing on Dec. 9.

Crothers is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has gray, salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Crothers or knows where he might be is asked to call Las Cruces police at 575-526-0750 immediately.
