Roadblocks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 4, with each closure lasting about one hour.

LAS CRUCES - White Sands Missile Range will block U.S. 70 twice Thursday, June 4, for scheduled operations.

The first roadblock is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and lift by 10:30 a.m. The second is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. and lift by 1:30 p.m.

The closures will occur at the Blue Block, about 2 miles east of the access road at mile marker 172, and at the Brown Block at mile marker 192.

San Augustin Pass and the Las Cruces Gate will not be affected. Nike Avenue will be affected by the closures.

White Sands Missile Range said roadblocks are subject to change without notice.
