Investigators say a white minivan may be tied to Monday night’s deadly shooting of Alejandro Roman near Solano and Spruce

LAS CRUCES - Police have released two images of a vehicle believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of 14-year-old Alejandro Roman on Monday night near Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue.

Roman, a backseat passenger in another vehicle, was killed around 9 p.m. June 2 in what investigators believe was a road rage incident.

Detectives say the suspect, believed to be a man, was driving a white Honda Odyssey or a similar minivan or SUV. Surveillance footage captured images of the vehicle, which police are now sharing publicly in hopes someone will recognize it or identify the driver.
