Las Cruces police are asking for help locating 85-year-old George Douglas Alexander, who was last seen Wednesday evening in the Las Alturas neighborhood.

LAS CRUCES - Police are asking for help locating an 85-year-old man reported missing in the Las Alturas neighborhood.

George Douglas Alexander was last at his home in the 4200 block of Colt Road around 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, according to police. He may have gone on a walk Thursday morning.

Alexander is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue and white T-shirt and a tan cap.

Police said Alexander suffers from deteriorating memory loss.
