Facility replaces Walton location, offers extended hours and walk-in care

Organ Mountain News report

LAS CRUCES - MountainView Regional Medical Center has opened a new urgent care on Lohman Avenue, replacing the Walton location that has now closed.

MountainView Urgent Care at Lohman is at 4351 E. Lohman Ave., Suite 100, in the medical office building next to the hospital.

“Urgent Care at Lohman will provide medical care for illnesses and minor injuries that aren’t life-threatening but need prompt care, such as common colds, flu, minor cuts, sprains and small fractures,” said Cindy Watkins, director of the urgent care center. “We can also do X-rays and lab work and treatment for rashes and infections. We will serve as a convenient alternative to an emergency room for non-life-threatening conditions with shorter wait times.”

MountainView’s other urgent care locations include Urgent Care at Northrise, 3485 Northrise Drive, Suite 1, and Urgent Care at Valley, 1455 S. Valley Drive, Suite A.
